Job Description

Panda Restaurant Group, Inc., founded in 1983 in Glendale, California, has grown to become the largest family-owned American Chinese restaurant concept in the United States. With close to 2,800 locations globally, the company takes pride in delivering exceptional Asian dining experiences while embracing core family values that inspire its people to better their lives. Known for its dynamic growth and strong community presence, Panda Restaurant Group fosters a vibrant work environment that values team collaboration and individual development. The company is committed to providing equal employment opportunities and supports workplace accommodations in compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).

As a Cook at Panda Restaurant Group, you will play a vital role as a leader and core member of the kitchen team. This position is central to the fast-paced and growth-oriented nature of the company's restaurant operations. Cooks support the creation of a welcoming atmosphere for guests by preparing food with passion and maintaining high standards aligned with company recipes. Beyond culinary skills, this role involves guiding and assisting kitchen team members with their training and performing all back-of-house responsibilities efficiently. The role requires adaptability to a dynamic environment where priorities may frequently shift. Cooks must maintain accuracy and speed while managing kitchen equipment, preparing both hot and cold foods, and adhering to food safety guidelines. Physical demands of the job include standing for prolonged periods, lifting up to 50 lbs, and working in conditions with high heat and noise levels. This career opportunity offers hands-on paid training, ongoing leadership development, and potential growth into management positions, making it an ideal choice for individuals eager to thrive in the food service industry.
