You will be entrusted with setting up your workstation, preparing ingredients by measuring, weighing, chopping, and peeling, and using equipment such as ovens, stoves, slicers, and mixers.

Job Requirements
- Experience as a cook or in a related role
- Knowledge of basic food preparation principles and cooking methods
- Ability to acquire food safety certification
- Basic math and counting skills
- Interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to lift and bend as required
- Willingness to wear uniforms and use personal protective equipment (PPE)
Job Qualifications
- Experience as a cook or in a related role
- Validated knowledge of the basic principles of food preparation, cooking methods, and food safety regulations
- Must be able to acquire food safety certification
- Demonstrate basic math and counting skills
- Demonstrate interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal
Job Duties
- Cook and prepare a variety of food according to production guidelines and standardized recipes
- Set up workstation with all needed ingredients and equipment
- Prepare ingredients by measuring, weighing, mixing, chopping, trimming, and peeling food items
- Safely use a variety of utensils including knives
- Operate equipment such as ovens, stoves, slicers, mixers
- Bake, roast, broil, steam, and use various cooking methods on meat, vegetables, and other foods
- Arrange, garnish, and portion food according to established guidelines
- Properly store food by adhering to food safety policies and procedures
- Clean and sanitize work areas, equipment, and utensils
- Maintain excellent customer service and positive demeanor
- Adhere to Aramark safety policies and procedures including accurate food safety and sanitation
- Ensure security of company assets
