Job Description

Currently, Eurest is seeking an on-call Cook for a position based at Bio Rad, located at 245 Linus Pauling Drive, Hercules, California. This role is designed for individuals who bring expertise in cooking, catering, and line cooking, including experience with both cold and hot food preparation. The position offers an on-call schedule from Monday to Friday between 6:00 am and 2:30 pm, with additional details to be discussed during the interview process. Compensation for this role ranges from $22.00 to $23.00 per hour, with the potential for the position to transition into a full-time role offering benefits such as 401K, vacation, and sick days.

As a Cook with Eurest, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality food items according to standardized recipes, ensuring that all meals meet the company’s stringent standards for taste, presentation, and food safety. Your role is critical in maintaining consistent food quality and excellent service standards. You will actively participate in food production planning, inventory management, and adhering to health and safety regulations, including HACCP standards. The Cook role also requires maintaining cleanliness and order in the kitchen, proper storage of food and supplies, safe operation of kitchen equipment, and compliance with company policies regarding personal safety and hygiene.

The ideal candidate will have a solid background in culinary preparation with specific experience in catering and line cooking.
