The Cook position is an integral role within our kitchen team responsible for cooking, preparing, and packaging food products in accordance with our operational and quality standards. Reporting directly to the Manager on Duty (MOD), this role requires adherence to company policies and procedures and ensures the highest level of food safety and hygiene. The Cook operates various stations including the dresser, grill, and food prep areas, contributing to the efficient flow of kitchen operations. The role demands regular cleaning and sanitation duties to maintain a clean and safe working environment. This position involves working irregular hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, demonstrating flexibility and dedication. The role also requires the ability to handle food product stock weighing up to 50 pounds and performing other job-related duties as assigned. Ideal candidates will have general restaurant or retail experience, strong communication skills, basic math and reading capabilities, and the ability to multitask effectively. The work environment includes continuous physical activities such as standing, bending, reaching, and frequent exposure to heat and cold temperatures. Job Duties

  • Cook, prepare, and package food product pursuant to operational and quality standards
  • operate dresser, front swamp, back swamp, grill, and food prep stations as assigned
  • comply with all company policies, procedures, and operational standards
  • perform regular cleaning and sanitation duties including trash disposal, mopping, sweeping, washing dishes and food preparation tools, wiping counters, sanitizing food preparation areas, cleaning equipment, and emptying used grease
  • maintain regular attendance
  • report customer or employee complaints or issues to MOD
  • move and stock food product weighing up to 50 pounds
  • perform other job-related duties as assigned or required
