Job Description

This position is for a full-time, onsite Cook located in Birmingham, Alabama, within the Trio Community Meals division. The Cook role is crucial in maintaining culinary excellence and efficiency in a dynamic, fast-paced kitchen environment. The ideal candidate will be experienced and motivated, passionate about preparing high-quality, scratch-cooked meals, and eager to contribute to a team that prioritizes both food quality and customer satisfaction. Compensation for this role starts at $16 per hour.

In this role, the Cook will be responsible for various tasks including food preparation, portion control, and creative food presentation, while ensuring compliance with safety and sanitation standards. Experience with customer service and the ability to operate various kitchen tools and equipment are essential. Certification as a food handler is considered a plus but is not mandatory.
