At Trilogy, working as a Cook means playing a vital role in the health and well-being of residents by preparing and serving high-quality, scratch-made meals. The role involves strict adherence to safety and sanitation standards and a commitment to delivering a positive dining experience. Cooks assist with inventory management, maintaining cleanliness, and supervising dietary staff when the Food Service Manager is unavailable. This position is integral to ensuring residents receive nutritious meals that meet dietary guidelines and that food service operations run smoothly and efficiently. Job Duties

  • Prepare fresh scratch-made meals using a recipe for residents according to planned menus and dietary guidelines
  • assist the Food Service Manager with inventory control and ordering supplies
  • properly store food and kitchen supplies to maintain freshness and prevent waste
  • supervise and support dietary staff when the Food Service Manager is unavailable
  • set up breakfast bars, steam tables, and other meal service stations
  • maintain cleanliness in work areas and ensure all kitchen cleaning tasks are completed
  • prepare and stock snacks and standard pantry items for resident areas
  • utilize technology and computerized systems to efficiently and safely create a great dining experience for our residents and families
