The Cook position at SodexoMagic, located at Daimler Trucks HQ in Portland, represents a full-time opportunity with a competitive pay range of $21.00 to $22.00 per hour. This role is pivotal for ensuring the delivery of delicious, nutritious meals while embodying the company’s commitment to exceptional customer service and sustainability practices, such as food waste reduction. Working primarily on weekday morning shifts, this position involves preparing and presenting a variety of hot and cold dishes across multiple meal periods, including breakfast, lunch, dinner, and special or catered events. Candidates will engage in recipe preparation and possibly operate grill stations or a la carte services, demonstrating adaptability and culinary skill within a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Job Duties

  • Accurately and efficiently prepare, portion, cook, and present a variety of hot and/or cold food items for various meal periods including breakfast, lunch, dinner, and special/catered events
  • Read and follow basic recipes and/or product directions for preparing various food items
  • May prepare food and serve customers at an a la carte and/or operate a grill station
  • Attend work and show for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity
  • Perform other duties as assigned based on business necessities and client requirements
