As a Line Cook at Dragon Alley, you will play a vital role in the culinary heart of the restaurant. The role is full-time or part-time with flexible scheduling options, including day, night, weekend, and extended shifts of 10 to 12 hours. Job Requirements
- No formal education required
- Ability to stand for long shifts up to 10 hours
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays
- Strong communication skills
- Basic culinary understanding
Job Qualifications
- Proven experience as a line cook or in a similar fast-paced kitchen is preferred but training is provided
- Strong knife skills
- Basic culinary knowledge
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
Job Duties
- Set up and stock kitchen stations with all necessary ingredients and tools for service
- Prepare a variety of meats, seafood, and vegetables using woks, fryers, and grills according to established recipes
- Ensure all food is cooked to appropriate temperatures and plated according to chef-driven specifications
- Maintain high standards of sanitation and safety, including cleaning workstations and following food storage guidelines
- Communicate effectively with front-of-house staff and fellow cooks to ensure timely service during peak hours
