The Cook position at MVW plays a critical role in delivering exceptional dining experiences to guests by preparing food safely and efficiently in accordance with company guidelines. This role involves operating multiple cooking appliances such as ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves, and fryers to prepare various dishes. The Cook is responsible for maintaining a clean and organized workstation, following all food safety and handling policies including HACCP guidelines, and ensuring that all potentially hazardous foods are cooked to the correct temperatures. Additionally, this role requires the Cook to keep up-to-date with company food safety programs, adhere to safety procedures, and contribute positively to the overall guest experience.

Job Requirements

  • Available to work various shifts, holidays, and both weekend days
  • Reach overhead and below the knees, perform bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping
  • Be able to stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time
  • Lift, carry, push, pull items that weigh up to 25lbs without assistance
  • Position may require background and drug screening contingent on company policy in accordance with applicable legal requirements

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous cooking experience preferred
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and HACCP guidelines
  • Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays

Job Duties
