Job Requirements

  • must have relevant cooking experience in a food service environment
  • must be physically able to stand, walk, stoop, reach, push, pull and bend for extended periods
  • must be able to lift objects weighing up to 40 pounds
  • must complete a food handler's certificate training
  • must satisfactorily pass a pre-employment physical examination
  • must complete a background check
  • open to all applicants with appropriate preference categories
  • no education substitution allowed

Job Qualifications

  • experience in food preparation and presentation in a grill, snack bar, restaurant, or similar setting
  • knowledge of food service equipment operation and cleaning
  • ability to follow oral and written instructions
  • ability to perform simple arithmetic
  • knowledge of food seasoning and cooking completion indicators
  • physical ability to lift up to 40 pounds frequently
  • ability to complete required certifications such as a food handler's certificate
  • ability to pass a pre-employment physical and background check
