Job Requirements
- must have relevant cooking experience in a food service environment
- must be physically able to stand, walk, stoop, reach, push, pull and bend for extended periods
- must be able to lift objects weighing up to 40 pounds
- must complete a food handler's certificate training
- must satisfactorily pass a pre-employment physical examination
- must complete a background check
- open to all applicants with appropriate preference categories
- no education substitution allowed
Job Qualifications
- experience in food preparation and presentation in a grill, snack bar, restaurant, or similar setting
- knowledge of food service equipment operation and cleaning
- ability to follow oral and written instructions
- ability to perform simple arithmetic
- knowledge of food seasoning and cooking completion indicators
- physical ability to lift up to 40 pounds frequently
- ability to complete required certifications such as a food handler's certificate
- ability to pass a pre-employment physical and background check
