Job Requirements

  • Prior culinary experience is required
  • Ability to work full-time or part-time with flexible schedules including mornings and evenings
  • Ability to adhere to federal, state, and corporate food safety regulations
  • Ability to maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment
  • Ability to use personal protective equipment such as gloves and slip-resistant shoes
  • Ability to perform physical tasks related to kitchen work
  • Willingness to comply with company policies and procedures

Job Duties

  • Prepares high-quality food items according to standardized recipes and instructions
  • Serves meals or prepares for delivery ensuring correct portioning and temperature
  • Uses established ticket collection procedures during service
  • Cleans kitchen and maintains high standards of cleanliness
  • Stores or discards excess food according to safe food-handling procedures
  • Keeps refrigerators and storerooms clean and organized
  • Operates and maintains kitchen equipment
  • Assists in production planning, record keeping, and reporting
  • Assists in ordering and receiving food and supplies
  • Reports maintenance issues or accidents immediately
  • Attends in-service and safety meetings
  • Maintains good working relationships with coworkers, customers, and managers
  • Performs job safely maintaining clean and safe work environment
  • Ensures proper presentation, portion control, and serving temperature
  • Commits personally to safety
  • Abides by company policies including glove use, oven mitts, and slip-resistant shoes
