Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Previous experience as a line cook
Food safety and sanitation certification
Ability to stand for long periods
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
Ability to work flexible hours
Reliable and punctual

Knowledge of cooking methods and kitchen equipment

Job Duties

Line cook experience required
Knowledge of various cooking methods, equipment and procedures
Prepares items in accordance with established recipes for a consistent product
Expedite orders in a timely manner
Learns and maintains standards in food production and quality
Practices excellent operational sanitation
Verifies that all coolers are at the proper temperatures and are cleaned on a daily basis
Monitors inventory rotation to maintain fresh product with little or no waste
Incorporates safe work practices in job performance
Regular and reliable attendance
Performs other duties as required
