Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- prior experience as a cook in a professional kitchen preferred
- ability to stand for long periods
- ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
- ability to work in hot and cold kitchen environments

Job Duties
- Prepares and cooks food items according to recipes, quality standards, and presentation standards
- collaborates with the Executive Chef and kitchen team to develop new recipes and menu items
- maintains a clean and organized work area including cleaning equipment and utensils
- assists with receiving and storage of deliveries and rotates stock to maintain freshness
- monitors food quality and adjusts seasoning and presentation accordingly
- oversees a specific station in the kitchen, coordinating with staff to ensure timely food delivery
- assists with training new kitchen staff and supports kitchen team members as needed
- adheres to health department regulations and ensures proper food storage and labeling
- implements practices to reduce food waste and optimize resources
- ensures guest interactions are courteous and professional
