Job Requirements
- Line cook experience in a full scratch kitchen or restaurant
- 2 to 5 years experience on a fast-paced line or prep cook station
- Ability to execute flawless dishes in a timely manner
- Ability to communicate with a friendly demeanor to all staff
- Passionate about service and creating exceptional food experiences
- Must pass a criminal background check and health screening tests including physical and TB tests
- Willingness to comply with vaccination, screening, testing, and PPE requirements to prevent spread of COVID-19 or other communicable diseases
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Proven cooking experience in a full scratch kitchen or restaurant
- Strong knowledge of cooking methods, kitchen equipment, and best practices
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Passion for culinary arts and continuous learning
- Familiarity with health and safety standards in food service
Job Duties
- Prepare and cook meals from scratch using fresh, local ingredients
- Ensure timely execution of dishes with high-quality standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workstation
- Collaborate with team members to develop and implement seasonal menus
- Interact with residents and guests to enhance their dining experience
- Follow food safety and health regulations rigorously
- Assist in inventory management and kitchen supply ordering
