Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- One year full-time, wage-earning experience in commercial or institutional food preparation or food service management
- Valid ServSafe Food Safety Certification
- Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record unless waived by management
- Ability to complete annual in-service training, including physical agility test and background check

Job Duties
- Prepare meals following approved menus, dietary guidelines, and portion control standards
- Work collaboratively with the food service team to meet daily meal production goals
- Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures, including proper handling, storage, and disposal of food
- Maintain clean and organized workstation, sanitizing prep surfaces and properly storing food
- Adhere to facility security protocols, including supervision and safe handling of kitchen tools and maintaining an accurate and complete count of all required tools
- Monitor inventory of food and supplies using production systems and ensure timely availability of required items or approved alternatives
- Serve and ensure proper serving of food for tray line and dining room
