Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • prior experience in front-line kitchen roles
  • certificated ServSafe food handler
  • ability to work full time on a Monday through Friday schedule from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm
  • strong attention to detail
  • ability to stand for long periods
  • good communication skills
  • ability to follow safety and hygiene protocols
  • reliable and punctual

Job Qualifications

  • prior front-line kitchen experience including pizza and sandwich preparation
  • certificated ServSafe food handler
  • ability to prepare high-quality food items consistently
  • knowledge of food safety and HACCP standards
  • experience in kitchen equipment operation and maintenance
  • strong organizational skills
  • ability to follow detailed instructions and standardized recipes
  • excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • commitment to maintaining cleanliness and safety standards

Job Duties

  • prepares food according to standardized recipes and instructions
  • serves meals or prepares food for delivery ensuring correct portioning and temperature
  • uses established ticket collection procedures during service
  • cleans kitchen and maintains high standards of cleanliness
  • stores or discards excess food following safe food-handling procedures
  • maintains cleanliness and organization of refrigerators and storerooms
  • operates and maintains kitchen equipment
  • assists in production planning, record keeping and reporting
  • assists in ordering and receiving food and supplies
  • reports maintenance needs and equipment faults immediately
  • attends in-service and safety meetings
  • maintains good working relationships with coworkers, customers, and managers
  • performs work safely while maintaining a clean and safe environment
  • ensures proper presentation, portion control, and serving temperatures
  • commits to personal and others’ safety
  • adheres to company policies on safety equipment and procedures
