Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent certificate
At least two years of experience with food preparation and kitchen safety
Ability to speak, read, and understand English
Ability to follow instructions, recipe books, menus, and food labels
Positive attitude and teamwork skills
May require valid First Aid Certification

Job Qualifications

Experience with food purchasing and menu preparation
Positive attitude and ability to work well with elderly individuals
Valid First Aid Certification preferred

Job Duties

Prepare appealing and nutritious meals for residents and guests
Follow food safety and sanitation standards
Read and accurately follow recipes, menus, and food labels
Collaborate with the Director of Dining Services to plan menus
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen
Ensure heart-healthy meal options
Demonstrate a positive attitude and teamwork with staff and residents
