Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
experience in meal preparation for large groups
ability to stand for extended periods
ability to lift at least 50 pounds
ability to work in varying temperature conditions
ability to follow sanitation standards
ability to communicate effectively
willingness to wear uniform if required

Job Duties

Prepares and serves meals for assigned shifts in appropriate portions
maintains sanitation standards as required by all licenses and regulations
cleans work areas, utensils, and equipment with assistance
ensures inventories are rotated and fresh
notifies Food Service Director when supplies are needed
stores food and checks supplies upon delivery in absence of Director
encourages feedback from residents, guests, and staff to improve food quality and service
supports other departments as part of the team
provides communication to all involved in resident services
performs other duties as assigned
