Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience in a kitchen environment
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
  • Ability to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks
  • Ability to follow directions and work collaboratively
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts including nights, weekends and holidays
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous experience as a line cook or similar kitchen role preferred
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to kitchen procedures and standards
  • Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays

Job Duties

  • Prepare a variety of meats, seafood, poultry, vegetables and other food items for cooking in broilers, ovens, grills, fryers and other kitchen equipment
  • Comply with standard portion sizes, cooking methods, quality standards and kitchen policies
  • Stock and maintain sufficient levels of food products at line stations
  • Portion food products prior to cooking according to standard portion sizes and recipe specifications
  • Maintain a clean and sanitary work station including tables, shelves, grills, broilers and fryers
  • Assist in food prep assignments during off-peak periods
  • Close the kitchen properly following the closing checklist and assist others in closing
  • Attend all scheduled team meetings and training
  • Perform other duties as assigned such as dishwashing and bussing
