Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 1-year professional cooking experience or education equivalent
  • Ability to work from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm Monday through Friday
  • Capable of standing for long periods up to 8 hours
  • Ability to lift up to 35 pounds frequently
  • Ability to use large volume culinary equipment safely
  • Must follow workplace safety, food safety, HACCP guidelines and internal SOPs daily
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Must adhere to dress code and professional appearance standards

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1-year professional cooking experience or education equivalent
  • Basic knowledge of cooking and food preparation techniques
  • Ability to follow recipes and production sheets accurately
  • Familiarity with food safety standards including HACCP
  • Effective communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Commitment to workplace safety and cleanliness standards

Job Duties

  • Clock in and out for workday and breaks
  • Always provide the highest quality of service in accordance with ISS/Guckenheimer and client standards
  • Utilize food preparation procedures in accordance with applicable federal, state and local guidelines and regulations
  • Exhibit basic knowledge of cooking and prep techniques required by the work assignment
  • Execute NetMenu recipe preparation of food items as directed by production sheets and/or LC, SC, or Executive Chef
  • Clean and sanitize work areas and equipment following ISS/Guckenheimer and regulatory rules
  • Notify management of any ingredient discrepancies, food or equipment safety concerns or other issues requiring attention
  • Attend all meetings of the day
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned
