Job Requirements
- Minimum of 1-year professional cooking experience or education equivalent
- Ability to work from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm Monday through Friday
- Capable of standing for long periods up to 8 hours
- Ability to lift up to 35 pounds frequently
- Ability to use large volume culinary equipment safely
- Must follow workplace safety, food safety, HACCP guidelines and internal SOPs daily
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
- Must adhere to dress code and professional appearance standards
Job Qualifications
- Minimum of 1-year professional cooking experience or education equivalent
- Basic knowledge of cooking and food preparation techniques
- Ability to follow recipes and production sheets accurately
- Familiarity with food safety standards including HACCP
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Commitment to workplace safety and cleanliness standards
Job Duties
- Clock in and out for workday and breaks
- Always provide the highest quality of service in accordance with ISS/Guckenheimer and client standards
- Utilize food preparation procedures in accordance with applicable federal, state and local guidelines and regulations
- Exhibit basic knowledge of cooking and prep techniques required by the work assignment
- Execute NetMenu recipe preparation of food items as directed by production sheets and/or LC, SC, or Executive Chef
- Clean and sanitize work areas and equipment following ISS/Guckenheimer and regulatory rules
- Notify management of any ingredient discrepancies, food or equipment safety concerns or other issues requiring attention
- Attend all meetings of the day
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned
