Job Requirements
- Must meet minimum age and be authorized to work in the United States
- Ability to bend, reach, stoop, and safely lift up to 30 pounds
- Capacity to stand for 8 to 12 hour shifts
- Ability to work cooperatively in a team with attention to detail and multitasking abilities
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous cooking or kitchen experience advantageous
- Ability to follow recipes and portion control guidelines accurately
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Basic food safety knowledge
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment
Job Duties
- Accommodate and stock preparation and line stations
- Clean, disinfect, and organize kitchen area, equipment, and utensils
- Check ingredient quality and freshness
- Prepare, season, and cook foods according to recipes, specified quantities and specifications while maintaining portion control systems
- Inspect food prep and serving areas, utensils, and equipment to ensure safe and sanitary food handling practices
- Substitute or assist other cooks and kitchen positions during peak periods
