Job Duties
- Responsible for preparing three well-balanced meals and three snacks daily for residents
- Responsible for daily cleaning and maintenance of kitchen and dining areas
- Monitor the safety and security of the kitchen with regard to knives and equipment
- Order and maintain inventory of linens, personal health items, and cleaning supplies
- Assist Chef Manager with daily documentation and menu planning in compliance with nutritional guidelines
- Ensure proper storage of all food items
- Train kitchen staff on appropriate food storage and use of kitchen equipment
