Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 3 to 5 years of related food preparation experience or equivalent training
  • Food Handler certification or equivalent food safety certification
  • Certification must be obtained within one week of hire and maintained continuously
  • Ability to work full-time day shifts
  • Ability to follow health and safety regulations and protocols
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 3 to 5 years of related food preparation experience preferred
  • Basic technical food preparation training
  • Food Handler certification required
  • Ability to maintain food safety standards
  • Teamwork and communication skills
  • Attention to detail and cleanliness

Job Duties

  • Prepare breakfast, lunch, and/or dinner as assigned by Executive Chef, Sous Chef, or First Cook
  • Perform necessary prep work to complete meals on daily basis and next day's production needs
  • Maintain organization and sanitation of work areas
  • Follow food safety and health regulations
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure meal quality and efficiency
  • Stock and store ingredients properly
  • Assist in inventory management and reporting
