Job Requirements

  • Line cook experience in a full scratch kitchen or restaurant
  • 2 to 5 years experience on a fast-paced line or working a prep cook line station
  • Ability to execute flawless dishes in a timely manner
  • Ability to communicate with a friendly demeanor to all staff
  • Passionate about service to others and creating exceptional food experiences
  • Must pass a criminal background check and health screening tests including physical and TB tests
  • Compliance with COVID-19 safety protocols as required by Oakmont Management Group

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2 to 5 years of line cook experience in a fast-paced, full scratch kitchen or restaurant
  • Strong culinary skills and techniques
  • Ability to execute flawless dishes under time constraints
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Passion for providing exceptional food experiences
  • Familiarity with food safety and sanitation standards

Job Duties

  • Prepare and cook meals from scratch according to standardized recipes and seasonally inspired menus
  • Ensure food quality and presentation standards are consistently met
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workspace
  • Interact positively with residents and guests to enhance their dining experience
  • Manage inventory and order kitchen supplies as needed
  • Follow health and safety regulations strictly
  • Participate in ongoing culinary training and development
