Job Requirements

  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • Ability to perform basic cooking techniques such as grilling, sautéing, braising, and baking

Job Duties

  • Prepare meals for various campus restaurants following established standards
  • Maintain cleanliness and safety in food preparation areas according to DHEC regulations
  • Use basic cooking techniques such as grilling, sautéing, braising, and baking
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff and Executive Chef to ensure timely and quality meal service
  • Monitor food inventory and assist in ordering supplies
  • Adhere to health and safety guidelines to provide nutritious and safe meals
  • Support a positive team environment and contribute to community culture
