Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age to operate machinery
- ability to stand for long periods
- ability to carry up to 60 pounds
- ability to push and pull up to 1000 pounds
- frequent arm and hand motions for food preparation
- ability to bend and reach lower storage levels
- knowledge of proper safety procedures
- ability to operate stove, oven, fryer, slicer
- ability to slice, dice, and mince manually
Job Qualifications
- Previous experience working with the public
- time management skills
- proper knife skills
- knowledge of sanitation standards
- familiarity with different types of meats and fish
- good communication skills
- ability to follow directions independently
Job Duties
- Greet customers within ten feet and four seconds of contact
- cook food items such as bentos, roast chicken, and fish
- track food inventory and order from vendors when needed
- monitor food quality and perform hourly temperature checks
- maintain cleanliness and organization of workstation
- wash and sanitize dishes, tools, and cooking areas
- perform other related duties as assigned by the kitchen manager
