Job Requirements

  • Previous food service experience preferred
  • Must be able to work part-time shifts including early mornings and afternoons
  • Ability to follow health and safety standards including HACCP
  • Willingness to learn and participate in training
  • Must maintain personal safety and hygiene standards
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Must be able to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation

Job Duties

  • Prepares high-quality food items according to standardized recipes and instructions to meet production, delivery and service schedules
  • Serves meals or prepares for delivery by using correct portioning, ensuring correct temperature and appealing presentation
  • Cleans kitchen after preparation and serving, maintaining high standards of cleanliness
  • Stores or discards excess food following safe food-handling procedures
  • Operates and maintains kitchen equipment as instructed
  • Assists in production planning, record keeping and reporting as required
  • Reports maintenance needs, faulty equipment or accidents immediately to supervisor
