Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- one year of responsible food service experience preparing bulk meals
- ServSafe certification required within 30 days of hire
- ability to operate commercial kitchen equipment safely
- availability to work full-time schedule including evenings, weekends, holidays, and vacation coverage
- physical ability to perform kitchen tasks
- compliant with all health and safety regulations

Job Duties
- Operate kitchen equipment
- demonstrate methods of sanitary food preparation, cooking, and baking
- take personal ownership in the success of the dietary department and Willow Springs Center
- serve as a role model for dietary staff behavior
- clean and maintain all kitchen appliances
- report issues or concerns to management
- work with Department Manager and Lead to learn menu items, meal preparation, departmental organization, and staff safety
