Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous food service or culinary experience preferred
  • Ability to stand and walk 100 percent of shift
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs occasionally
  • Reliable and punctual
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions
  • Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends
  • Commitment to food safety and hygiene

Job Duties

  • Prepare food according to Parkhurst recipes and enforce the batch cooking method
  • Ensure quality of food and maintain quantity throughout service using production sheets
  • Ensure proper line presentation including correct pans, garnishes, utensils, and serving temperatures
  • Maintain communication with line servers and other associates about daily food information
  • Complete daily production sheets accurately
  • Store and date all food items properly
  • Follow HACCP guidelines in handling leftovers
  • Adhere to cleaning schedules and clean as you go practices
  • Communicate needs for products and supplies to management
  • Follow uniform dress code and maintain personal hygiene
  • Use Smile Plus hospitality principles
  • Assist team members and perform other management-assigned duties
