Job Requirements

  • Line cook experience in a full scratch kitchen or restaurant
  • 2 to 5 years of experience on a fast-paced line or prep cook line station
  • Ability to execute flawless dishes in a timely manner
  • Ability to communicate with a friendly demeanor to all staff
  • Passionate about service to others and creating exceptional food experiences
  • Must pass a criminal background check and health screening tests including physical and TB tests
  • Willingness to comply with Oakmont Management Group’s health and safety policies including vaccination, screening tests, and use of personal protective equipment

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Proven experience as a line cook or in a similar culinary role
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Passion for cooking and serving high-quality food
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • Ability to follow recipes and adapt to seasonal menu changes

Job Duties

  • Prepare and cook meals from scratch according to seasonal menus and recipes
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations
  • Monitor food quality and presentation to ensure high standards
  • Collaborate with team members to plan and execute daily meal services
  • Interact with residents and guests to enhance their dining experience
  • Follow health and safety guidelines strictly including COVID-19 protocols
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to improve culinary skills
