Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least two years of related experience
- Ability to function well in a high-paced and stressful environment
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
- Ability to operate kitchen equipment including braising pan, baking ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves and fryers
- Physically able to stand for 8 hours, bend, kneel, stretch, and lift at least 50 pounds
- Ability to communicate clearly in English
- Knowledge of sanitation regulations and food safety practices

- Ability to produce quality products in a timely manner

Job Duties
- Provide the highest and most efficient level of hospitality service to all hotel guests
- Adhere to all sanitation regulations and requirements
- Work in the designated station as set by Executive Chef and/or Sous Chefs
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation at the assigned work area
- Prepare and cook all food items by the recipe and to specification
- Prepare ingredients for cooking, including portioning, chopping, and storing food
- Cook food according to recipes, quality standards, and presentation standards
- Prepares, seasons, and cooks a wide variety of meats, vegetables, soups, breakfast dishes, and other food items
- Slicing, grinding, and cooking meats and vegetables using various cooking methods
- Wash and peel fresh fruits and vegetables
- Set up the station with par stocks of menu items
- Check supplies and prep lists ensuring timely preparation
- Replenish service lines and restock workstations
- Ensure proper storage of all products
- Communicate with supervisors during busy periods
- Check food and appliance temperatures
- Serve food in proper portions on correct serving vessels
- Wash and disinfect kitchen area and equipment
- Minimize waste and maintain food cost controls
- Review status of work and follow up with Head Cook before leaving
- Assist other team members or perform other tasks as assigned
