Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or GED or equivalent work experience
  • previous experience as a cook in fine dining
  • food handling certification (ServSafe)
  • strong communication skills
  • organizational skills
  • ability to work under pressure in fast-paced environment
  • willingness to comply with hotel dress and grooming standards
  • ability to work weekends and holidays
  • ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
  • ability to stand for extended periods

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • prepare ingredients for cooking
  • follow restaurant recipes and menu specifications
  • adhere to food health and safety procedures
  • maintain cleanliness of workstations and kitchen equipment
  • assist the chef and other cooks in meal preparation
  • ensure timely delivery of food orders for dine-in and room service
  • uphold organizational and safety standards in the kitchen
