Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Ability to effectively communicate with others
- Commitment to making an impact
- Ability to remain stationary and exert mobility for up to four hours
- Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to work in hot and damp environments
- Ability to use small tools and equipment
- Ability to wear protective gloves and face coverings through entire shifts
- Ability to wash hands frequently with disinfectant
- Availability to work flexible schedules
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous kitchen or cooking experience is an asset
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Commitment to food safety and hygiene standards
- Physical ability to perform job duties including lifting and standing for extended periods
Job Duties
- Prepare menu items according to recipe and presentation standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen and workstations
- Communicate effectively with team members and dining room staff
- Adhere to health and safety guidelines
- Manage food inventory and storage
- Assist with training new kitchen staff
- Ensure timely and efficient food preparation
