Job Requirements

  • Prior culinary and kitchen experience
  • Availability to work part-time schedule on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday
  • Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Commitment to safety protocols and cleanliness
  • Must be able to follow standardized recipes and food safety guidelines
  • Willingness to cross-train in other areas and possibly transition to full-time status
  • Must adhere to company policies including use of protective equipment and safe lifting techniques

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Prepares high-quality food items according to standardized recipes and instructions to meet production and service schedules
  • Serves meals or prepares meals for delivery using correct portioning and ensuring food is at correct temperature and attractive
  • Uses ticket collection procedures during service and maintains records
  • Cleans kitchen after preparation and serving, maintaining cleanliness standards
  • Stores or discards excess food according to safe food-handling procedures
  • Keeps refrigerators and storerooms clean and ensures proper food storage
  • Operates and maintains kitchen equipment as instructed
  • Assists in production planning, record keeping, and reporting
  • Assists in ordering and receiving food and supplies
  • Reports needed maintenance, faulty equipment, or accidents immediately
  • Attends in-service and safety meetings
  • Maintains positive relationships with coworkers, customers, and managers
  • Ensures safe and clean work environment
  • Follows company safety policies including proper use of gloves and slip-resistant shoes
  • Ensures proper presentation, portion control, and food safety compliance
  • Commits to personal and workplace safety
  • Performs other duties as assigned
