Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1 to 2 years culinary experience in a fast-paced restaurant
  • Must be fully conversational in English
  • Must successfully obtain ServSafe certification or equivalent
  • Knowledge of cooking procedures, safety and sanitation
  • Ability to lift 35 lbs or more
  • Ability to work varied hours, including nights, weekends, holidays, and during inclement weather
  • Ability to support other cooks and work in a team environment

Job Qualifications

  • Must be fully conversational in English
  • 1 to 2 years culinary experience in a fast-paced restaurant demonstrating entry-level cooking skills
  • Experience with quick service, grilling, frying
  • Must successfully obtain ServSafe certification or equivalent
  • Knowledge of cooking procedures, safety and sanitation
  • Able to lift 35 lbs or more
  • Experience supporting other cooks and working in a team environment
  • Able to work varied hours including nights, weekends, holidays, and inclement weather

Job Duties

  • Work in OTG's prep kitchens and/or the line of OTG's fast casual concepts
  • Support the back of house by prepping many of the ingredients
  • Prepare food to the correct doneness, portion sizing, and plating with identical contents and appearance according to OTG specifications
  • Control the quality of all food items prepared to OTG specifications and restaurant directions
  • Maintain organization, cleanliness, and sanitation of work areas and equipment
  • Operate kitchen equipment including stoves, ovens, broilers, slicers, steamers, kettles, etc
  • Ensure uniforms are clean and professional
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships and work toward customer satisfaction
