  • Minimum of 1 year as a cook or kitchen management

  • experience in well-rated culinary roles preferred
  • ability to follow dietary guidelines and presentation standards
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • strong attention to food safety and quality
  • ability to work weekends and flexible hours

Job Duties

  • Exhibit an awareness of dietary needs information provided by the dietician and chef review menu board for accuracy ensure food is cooked and presented in a safe manner
  • meal preparation ensuring food is cooked thoroughly served on time presented in a visually pleasing manner to maintain the overall quality that is The Healing Center's standard
  • follow recipe portion controls and presentation guidelines as set by the dietician and chef
  • assume full responsibility for quality of products served and report any client feedback
  • greet all clients and staff with a professional and pleasant attitude
  • maintain all foods at appropriate temperatures before and during serving times
  • work with dietician to ensure all items are ordered and received in a timely manner
  • provide cooking instruction to clients as requested
