Job Requirements

Minimum of 1 year as a cook or kitchen management
high school diploma or equivalent

high school diploma or equivalent
experience in well-rated culinary roles preferred
ability to follow dietary guidelines and presentation standards
excellent communication and interpersonal skills
strong attention to food safety and quality
ability to work weekends and flexible hours

Job Duties

Exhibit an awareness of dietary needs information provided by the dietician and chef review menu board for accuracy ensure food is cooked and presented in a safe manner
meal preparation ensuring food is cooked thoroughly served on time presented in a visually pleasing manner to maintain the overall quality that is The Healing Center's standard
follow recipe portion controls and presentation guidelines as set by the dietician and chef
assume full responsibility for quality of products served and report any client feedback
greet all clients and staff with a professional and pleasant attitude
maintain all foods at appropriate temperatures before and during serving times
work with dietician to ensure all items are ordered and received in a timely manner
provide cooking instruction to clients as requested
