Job Requirements

  • Three years of culinary arts experience in a food service setting
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate English sufficiently
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Availability to work full-time or part-time shifts including evenings and occasional mornings
  • Willingness to work every other weekend and rotating holidays

Job Qualifications

  • Associates degree in Culinary Arts preferred
  • ServSafe certification or equivalent preferred

Job Duties

  • Prepare and serve meals for patients, visitors, and staff
  • Review menus and production sheets to plan cooking schedules
  • Follow standardized recipes to ensure consistent product quality
  • Adjust meal preparation to accommodate dietary requirements and restrictions
  • Maintain cleanliness and safety in food preparation areas
  • Monitor food inventory and order supplies as needed
  • Collaborate with kitchen and dietary staff to optimize operations
