Job Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED certificate preferred
  • three years of experience in the preparation of foods from a grill in a high-volume setting required
  • National Restaurant Association Educational Foundation for ServSafe Protection Certification is required or must obtain ServSafe Protection Certificate within first 6 to 12 months of employment and maintain throughout employment
  • ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
  • ability to read and understand recipes including culinary math
  • ability to work effectively under pressure and meet established goals and deadlines

Job Duties

  • Provides set up and food preparation in accordance to standardized recipes
  • obtains maximum food quality and quantity control in accordance with guidelines and standard recipes
  • complies with sanitation, safety, and customer service standards
  • maintains effective interpersonal and communication skills
  • prepares quality food for Patient and Retail Services in a timely, cost-effective manner
  • performs other related duties as assigned
