Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Culinary training preferred
Minimum 1 year related experience
Experience cooking in hospital or healthcare setting preferred
Experience cooking in institutional setting preferred
Ability to work full-time rotating shifts
Availability to work weekends and holidays

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

Prepare nutritious and appetizing meals according to Food Production Manager requirements
Prepare meals for patients on regular and modified diets
Prepare food items for the cafeteria
Maintain accurate records of all foods prepared and returned
Ensure compliance with Maryland Department of Health standards and Johns Hopkins safety regulations
Follow strict safety and hygiene standards
Work rotating shifts including weekends and holidays
