- High school diploma or equivalent
- Culinary training preferred
- Minimum 1 year related experience
- Experience cooking in hospital or healthcare setting preferred
- Experience cooking in institutional setting preferred
- Ability to work full-time rotating shifts
- Availability to work weekends and holidays

Job Duties
- Prepare nutritious and appetizing meals according to Food Production Manager requirements
- Prepare meals for patients on regular and modified diets
- Prepare food items for the cafeteria
- Maintain accurate records of all foods prepared and returned
- Ensure compliance with Maryland Department of Health standards and Johns Hopkins safety regulations
- Follow strict safety and hygiene standards
- Work rotating shifts including weekends and holidays
