Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
At least 1 year of experience in hotel or food service cooking
Ability to work flexible hours including early mornings and weekends
Strong communication skills
Ability to follow food safety and sanitation standards
Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift moderate weights
Positive attitude and team player mindset

Job Qualifications

1+ year of customer service experience
1+ year of similar cooking experience
Passionate about hospitality and cooking
Ability to work in a fast paced environment
Open availability

Job Duties

Cooks or otherwise prepares food
Cooks food in quantities according to hotel occupancy
Inventories food, supplies and equipment weekly
Orders kitchen supplies as needed
Ensures all temp logs and waste logs are maintained daily
Receives, dates, and examines foodstuffs and supplies to ensure quality and quantity meet established standards and specifications
Ensures kitchen is clean and tidy
Stocks kitchen at end of each shift
Makes sure buffet area is restocked with hot foods
Makes sure buffet area is clean and organized
Keeps lobby and tables clean
All other duties as assigned
