Job Requirements

  • Previous line cooking, prep cooking, and food prep experience preferred
  • Ability to work full-time schedule, including weekends and varied shifts
  • Must be able to adhere to food safety and sanitation standards
  • Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely
  • Must maintain good physical condition for standing and lifting
  • Ability to follow instructions and work under supervision
  • Must comply with company policies including safety and hygiene protocols

Job Qualifications

  • Previous experience in line cooking, prep cooking, or food preparation preferred
  • Ability to follow standardized recipes and food safety standards
  • Knowledge of kitchen equipment operation and maintenance
  • Ability to work varied shifts including weekends
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Commitment to maintaining a clean and safe work environment
  • High school diploma or equivalent is preferred

Job Duties

  • Prepares high-quality food items according to standardized recipes and instructions to meet production
  • Serves meals using correct portioning, ensuring food temperature and presentation meet standards
  • Uses established ticket collection procedures during service
  • Cleans kitchen and maintains high standards of cleanliness
  • Stores or discards excess food in accordance with food-handling procedures
  • Keeps refrigerators and storerooms clean and organized
  • Operates and maintains kitchen equipment as instructed
  • Assists in production planning, record keeping, and reporting
  • Assists in ordering and receiving food and supplies
  • Reports maintenance needs or accidents promptly
  • Attends in-service and safety meetings
  • Maintains good working relationships with coworkers and management
  • Performs duties in a safe manner and maintains a clean work environment
  • Follows HACCP standards for proper food presentation and portion control
  • Adheres to company safety policies including appropriate glove use and slip-resistant shoes
  • Performs other duties as assigned
