Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum one year of cook or dietary experience
  • Ability to work afternoon shifts
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to follow safety and sanitation guidelines
  • Physical ability to stand for extended periods and perform kitchen tasks
  • Cheerful disposition
  • Passion for working with seniors

Job Qualifications

  • One-year cook or dietary experience
  • Experience in senior living, assisted living, or nursing facility settings is helpful but not required
  • Ability to work well within a team

Job Duties

  • Prepare appetizers, meals, desserts, snacks, and special event foods under the direction of the Executive Chef
  • Assist in serving meals as necessary
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen and work areas
  • Follow dietary guidelines and safety protocols
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation
  • Assist with inventory and stocking of kitchen supplies
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by supervisors
