Job Duties

  • Stock the cook line
  • Make and assist in daily prep plans
  • Prepare all recipes per specifications
  • Prepare all menu items to plate presentation standards
  • Ensure all orders are prepared within ticket time specifications
  • Responsible for general cleanliness of facility including sweeping, cleaning debris, cleaning stations and equipment, and mopping
  • Check daily inventory to ensure sufficient stocking
  • Operate dish machine when Dish Machine Operator/Dishwasher is not scheduled or extra help is needed
  • Rotate walk-ins and ensure shelf-life adherence
  • Adhere to health code standards
  • Label and date all prepped items according to appropriate procedures
  • Clean and sanitize work area
  • Notify Executive Chef(s) when orders arrive
  • Maintain organization and cleanliness of prep area
  • Make sure equipment is in complete working order and cleaned regularly according to The Legacy Club Maintenance and Janitorial schedule(s)
  • Complete all side work
  • Keep the floor free of debris and mop if needed
  • Report any safety issues to Management immediately
  • Complete checklists as applicable
  • Other duties as assigned
