Job Requirements

  • Must have completed six months of previous dietary service experience preferred but not essential
  • Must be able to demonstrate physical capability to carry out dietary duties
  • Must undergo pre-employment and annual tuberculosis screening examinations
  • Must possess appropriate health certificate as required by local, state, and federal health authorities
  • Must be willing to work scheduled shifts including weekends and holidays
  • Must adhere to all company policies and procedures
  • Must have interest in learning and ability to cooperate with supervision

Job Qualifications

  • Six months previous experience in dietary services preferred but not essential
  • Knowledge of quality food preparation and service
  • Basic understanding of food service and cleaning equipment
  • Willingness to learn and follow supervision
  • Ability to perform dietary duties physically
  • Adherence to company policies and health regulations

Job Duties

  • Prepare residents' meals according to approved menus and recipes
  • Serve meals using proper food handling techniques
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in food preparation and service areas
  • Use food service and cleaning equipment appropriately and safely
  • Follow all company policies and work efficiently
  • Cooperate with supervisors and team members
  • Work scheduled shifts including weekends and holidays
