Job Requirements
- Must have completed six months of previous dietary service experience preferred but not essential
- Must be able to demonstrate physical capability to carry out dietary duties
- Must undergo pre-employment and annual tuberculosis screening examinations
- Must possess appropriate health certificate as required by local, state, and federal health authorities
- Must be willing to work scheduled shifts including weekends and holidays
- Must adhere to all company policies and procedures
- Must have interest in learning and ability to cooperate with supervision
Job Qualifications
- Six months previous experience in dietary services preferred but not essential
- Knowledge of quality food preparation and service
- Basic understanding of food service and cleaning equipment
- Willingness to learn and follow supervision
- Ability to perform dietary duties physically
- Adherence to company policies and health regulations
Job Duties
- Prepare residents' meals according to approved menus and recipes
- Serve meals using proper food handling techniques
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in food preparation and service areas
- Use food service and cleaning equipment appropriately and safely
- Follow all company policies and work efficiently
