Job Qualifications

  • be a self-starter who works independently with minimal supervision
  • ability to work rotating shifts, including holidays, weekends, and overtime as needed
  • strong organizational, analytical, communication and leadership skills required
  • bilingual English/Spanish a plus
  • legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
  • ability to read and interpret loading instructions, diagrams, and food menu specifications
  • highly flexible and analytical, pro-active team player
  • excellent knowledge of food and hygiene standards
  • must hold a valid Food Handlers Certificate, recognized by local authorities (e.g., SERV Safe)
  • meticulous time management skills with the ultimate attention to detail
  • airline catering industry knowledge is a plus

Job Duties

  • leadership, management and accountability
  • passionate about gourmet food
  • comply with all food safety rules and regulations
  • ability to read and execute corporate recipes
  • clean and sanitize station as needed and at end of shift
  • keeping waste logs up-to-date for financial controlling review
  • complete all FSQ logs in real time with accordance with FSQ standards
  • follow working/batch recipes using the proper tools (e.g. scales, scoops etc.)
