Job Requirements

  • Strong culinary background with hands-on cooking experience in high-volume kitchens
  • Exceptional knife skills, ingredient knowledge, and mastery of cooking techniques
  • Natural leadership abilities with a team-first mindset
  • The desire to support your team's success
  • Availability to work any day of the week including weekends and holidays
  • Flexibility to work primarily afternoon and evening shifts with occasional morning shifts

Job Qualifications

  • In-depth skills and knowledge of all kitchen operations
  • Possess strong leadership, communication, organization, and relationship skills
  • Experience with training, basic financial management, and customer service preferred
  • Proficient in general computer knowledge
  • A true desire to exceed guest expectations in a fast-paced customer service environment
  • Capable of producing a consistent product in a timely manner
  • Strong training and communication skills
  • Culinary education and/or on the job training, hotel experience preferred
  • Flexibility to work a varying schedule based on business needs

Job Duties

  • Take charge of food production and kitchen operations during service
  • Supervise and mentor kitchen staff to ensure consistency, efficiency, and excellence
  • Collaborate with chefs on menu innovation, special events, and holiday offerings
  • Ensure food safety, sanitation, and equipment maintenance standards are always met
  • Assist in managing schedules, training, evaluations, and daily communication within the kitchen
  • Lead by example with professionalism, precision, and pride in your craft
  • Contribute to achieving outstanding guest satisfaction and team engagement scores
