This role is instrumental in managing food production and ensuring top-quality standards within the Team Member Cafeteria. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing a variety of food items based on established recipes, maintaining impeccable cleanliness and organization in compliance with health regulations, and overseeing inventory to guarantee freshness and quality. This position requires a proactive approach to food safety and production procedures, ensuring that all operations align with both company policies and government regulations. Additionally, the Food Production and Quality Control Specialist will assist in requisitioning supplies and collaborate closely with Sous Chefs and the Executive Chef to uphold operational excellence. Job Requirements

  • High school graduate or equivalent preferred
  • Minimum of 6 months to 1-year experience in a similar role
  • Food Handlers Certification required

Job Duties

  • Prepares all food items according to standard recipes for the Team Member Cafeteria
  • Ensures compliance with all hotel policies and procedures that relate to food and beverage, as well as local, state, and federal laws and regulations
  • Checks and controls the proper storage of product, monitoring age and condition of all food items to rotate and maintain highest quality
  • Keeps all refrigeration equipment, storage and working areas clean and clutter free, complying with Health department regulations
  • Prepares daily requisitions for supplies and food items for production
  • Reads and employs math skills to follow recipes
  • Other duties as assigned by Sous Chef's or Executive Chef
