The Cook 1 position at Trilogy Valor is critical within the Food & Beverage Team, with responsibilities focusing on food preparation, cooking, and serving to meet and exceed guest expectations. Reporting directly to the Kitchen Manager or Executive Chef, this role offers an excellent opportunity for culinary professionals to enhance their skills, master various kitchen stations, and contribute actively to the vibrant dining atmosphere. The position demands a strong commitment to cleanliness, food safety, and culinary excellence, reflected in following cleaning schedules, adhering to recipe instructions, and ensuring food quality through sensory assessments such as tasting and smelling. Personal accountability for one’s station, a proactive attitude towards guest satisfaction, and a willingness to undertake additional duties as assigned are essential components of the role. Working as a Cook 1 at Trilogy Valor means being part of a team that values honesty, integrity, respect for individuals, teamwork, and a competitive spirit, creating a supportive and motivating environment. This position is suited for individuals who thrive under pressure, can juggle multiple priorities effectively, and possess strong team-building and leadership skills. The work environment is primarily indoors in a fully equipped kitchen, but flexibility to operate outdoor kitchen stations during events is necessary. Physical demands include standing, walking, lifting up to 50 pounds, and maintaining high levels of manual dexterity and sensory acuity while adhering to strict health and safety guidelines.
