Catering to an exclusive clientele, Invited manages more than 130 private clubs nationwide, including country clubs, city clubs, and athletic clubs. These venues feature championship golf courses, elegant workspaces, gourmet culinary offerings, resort-style swimming pools, state-of-the-art racquet sports facilities, fully equipped fitness centers, and many other luxurious amenities designed to provide a comprehensive and enriching lifestyle experience.
As a Cook 1 at Invited, you will play a fundamental role in maintaining the club's high standards for food quality and presentation. This entry-level cooking position involves the set-up, preparation, and organization of your assigned workstation with the support and guidance of more experienced culinary staff. You will be responsible for essential kitchen tasks including basic food preparation, proper food storage, sanitation of the workspace, and assisting in the production of food and beverage items according to established standards. Working closely with Cook 2 and Cook 3 team members as well as supervisory culinary leads such as the Kitchen Manager, Sous Chef, and Executive Chef, you will help ensure kitchen operations run smoothly and that every dish meets Invited’s expectations of excellence.
This role requires a strong willingness to learn, adaptability, and a proactive approach to supporting the kitchen team. You will also have direct interactions with club members and guests, responding professionally to service requests and last-minute changes, thus contributing directly to an outstanding guest experience. The position offers exposure to a professional culinary environment with opportunities to develop cooking skills and advance within a respected company known for its dedication to employee development and comprehensive benefits. Your schedule will typically include varied shifts with some weekend and holiday hours to meet operational needs. The compensation package is competitive, reflecting your experience and skills, while full-time employees enjoy a robust array of benefits designed to support well-being, retirement planning, and work-life balance.
Joining Invited means becoming part of a vibrant and inclusive team culture that prioritizes respect, collaboration, and continuous improvement. You will be supported in maintaining any necessary certifications relevant to your role, encouraged to adhere to safe working practices, and expected to uphold the company’s high standards of professionalism and service. This is a great opportunity for individuals passionate about food preparation and hospitality who want to grow their career in a dynamic and rewarding environment where their efforts directly contribute to the success and reputation of a prestigious club network.
