Established in 1957, Invited has grown to become the largest owner and operator of private clubs nationwide, managing over 130 country clubs, city clubs, and athletic clubs. These clubs offer a diverse array of first-class amenities, including championship golf courses, modern workspaces, handcrafted cuisine, resort-style pools, state-of-the-art racquet facilities, fitness centers, and much more. Invited prides itself on fostering a welcoming and inclusive environment for more than 17,000 employees, as well as the members and guests who frequent their clubs. The company is committed to building enriching relationships within these communities, focusing on delivering exceptional service and memorable experiences.

The role of Cook 1 at Invited is an excellent opportunity for individuals eager to start or advance their culinary careers within a dynamic and supportive team environment. As a Cook 1, you will be entrusted with the responsibility of setting up, preparing, and organizing your workstation to ensure smooth kitchen operations. This entry-level position centers on basic food preparation tasks while adhering to the highest standards of food safety and presentation. Reporting directly to the Kitchen Manager, Sous Chef, or Executive Chef, you will work closely alongside more experienced cooks to consistently deliver quality dishes.

Your duties will include preparing and properly storing food items, maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in your designated areas, and assisting with the production of various menu items such as daily specials, entrees, salads, and more. You will also manage kitchen inventory related to condiments, dressings, and other supplementary items. This role requires effective communication skills for coordinating product needs and addressing any food quality or presentation concerns.

In addition to your core responsibilities, you are expected to interact professionally with members and guests, promptly accommodating special requests and ensuring their satisfaction through attentive service. The Cook 1 position demands adaptability and a proactive approach to assisting colleagues, contributing to a positive and efficient kitchen atmosphere. Physical endurance and the ability to work in varied environments are essential, as the job entails standing for extended periods, lifting heavy items, and performing a range of physical activities.

Invited values continuous professional growth and supports employees in maintaining relevant certifications required for their roles. The company offers a comprehensive benefits package to its full-time team members, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, life and disability insurance, a 401(k) retirement savings plan, and generous paid time off and leave programs. While this position may require working variable hours, including weekends and holidays, it promises a rewarding experience within a reputable organization dedicated to excellence in hospitality and employee well-being.
